You used to use donut-shaped stickers to fix holes in your paper when it tore or fell out of your school binder. These little stickers are very useful for nail art, especially when creating neon tips inspired by French manicures. You might have them if you're a student or live with someone who does. You can buy them at your local office supply store for a few dollars if you don't have any.

Miss Pop recommends buying blue painter's adhesive from a hardware store if you want to personalize your project. It can be cut into various shapes and doesn't leave any sticky residue, according to Miss Pop. Apply it directly to your nail, before applying your base coat and color coats. Remove the tape when the polish is dry to the touch but not completely dry.
